I believe this is a classic win by endgame tablebases. I don't think Fritz would have won the game without them. Fritz 6 offered a draw on move 50. Since Rebel has no "offer draw" function I just let them play. If I were running Rebel in a tournament I would have accepted the draw for Rebel. On move 75 Fritz announced mate in 40. Fritz 6 score went up to about +8-+14 a few moves before the mate in 40 announcement. I haven't tested it without tablebases yet but I think Fritz would have missed the win without them. It's a shame because it was a very good fight which deserved to be drawn. Played on 2 Athlon 900 Mhz machines (manually).
