Hello Scott, You can play Fritz vs CM8K using E. Boergers "Winboard232b" adapter. Two computers and a null modem cable are required. It does not handle pawn promotions and only runs one game at a time (You have to restart it after each game). There is also another winboard adapter by Chrilly Donninger but it's not available anywhere I know of. And I can't tell you how to get it. It is supposed to handle pawn promotions OK.
