The interface is the problem. If the GMs can be free to think about chess while the computers are doing their thing, everything will work well. However, if the GMs end up spending time waiting for the computers to analyse they will be wasting their brains. It also depends on how seriously the computer analysis can be taken. If it's used purely for tactical analysis, that's OK, but its opinions on positional matters must be taken with some salt. Regards Simon
