I just took Delivery of a new 1.2 gig T-bird and it did not work properly. I would get a _Windows_ error flag stating that Windows had detected a unstable status which could be either the comp hardware or a installed program. I thought it was the chess program I had installed for several days until others here in the forum advised they had no problems and the very courteous programmar of the chess program advised me there were no issues with the program, Windows ME and gave me very useful suggestions. The long and short of it all, it turned out to be the Comp. Thanks Wayne
