I didn't let it run forever, but I get the same (roughly) score for
your move that I get for rfd1 which is the move crafty normally finds
here.  I'd like to run it for an hour to be sure however...  but they
may well be equivalent, and another cook...

I haven't run this to extreme depths to see if this works or not.
I did try it on Cray Blitz and Crafty:
crafty finds ng3+ instantly, by depth=7, 2 seconds the score is +5.7, by
depth=10, score=+7.25

Cray Blitz gets +7.9 at ply=7, 0 seconds.  It didn't
change to g3 although I couldn't let it run more than a few seconds
