k6 is faster than pentium. shredder considered long because it had fail low. comet considered long too. absolutely right uli. but a nice game, isn't it. congratulations ! this is why making this tournament makes fun, you sit there watch the games and get interesting insights in the programs while watching them. this makes fun. therefore i do these tournaments. btw: crafty versus chessmaster8000. me and crafty believe that crafty is better, it says +1.08. chessmaster8000 on the other hand says 0.03. since cm8 has a bug it could be -0.03 or +0.03. nobody knows. but - whatever it is, it is a pawn difference to craftys score. maybe chessmaster believes it could attack crafty with a king-attack. white king is on b1 and black queen on b6. black fianchetto bishop on g7. maybe cm8 believes this is enough for an attack ?
