Because were I one of the GM players, I'd choose Fritz without giving it a moment's thought, because Fritz is probably the best program (tactically) that is commercially available. And fast tactics is what I'd want, along with a good usable interface. So this would be an endorsement, but only for the tactical search and not the "knowledge" in the engine... I can't imagine of any program (excepting deep blue (or the PC version were it available) that a GM could trust for positional ideas, and even then it would be "iffy"...
