The solution to the latest fritz upgrade: You have to make sure that it is installing in the right folder where fritz is installed by default. If it does not work when you patch it up the first time it will not work if you redownload the patch and reinstall it over and over. Solution: Unintall and reinstall Fritz Download latest patch When you install the patch MAKE sure it is going into Program Files/Chessbase/Fritz6 At least that is where my default fritz6 is located. What happened to me was that I installed the patch into Program Files/Chessbase, I had not noticed it had to go into the Fritz6. I hope this helps.
