Subject: Chess Assistant Winboard Engine Support

Is anyone familiar with the way that Chess Assistant 5.1 supports winboard
engines? In particular is it 'broken' like ChessBase's 'new' command issued
before each move? I have found the setup of Winboard engines is very easy, and
the play of (for example) Little Goliath to be quite strong, but I was wondering
if there was a performance penalty, or any problems with which people were
familiar.
