But seriously, I kind of remember reading in crafty for example that there extending starts only at ply=2, and I've tried that, but don't really see why not at ply=1? I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but in my program it seems to work ok. What are other programmers doing? Paul PS: I find the complete solution to the last problem in <3700 nodes ;)
