There are many things that have a positive probability and don't seem to happen much. For instance, every air molecule in the room we are sitting in could suddenly decide to go straight up, leaving us in a hard vacuum. Of course, we would explode immediately. Now, the probability of this happening is 10^-(some really big number) but not zero. ;-)
