I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me the relative merits of the Athlon and Pentium 4 processors in playing chess. I have heard that the Athlon is better in certain applications. but it would seem that the higher speed of the Pentium 4 would give it the edge as far as chess is concerned. Thanks, George
