Now if your computer and program gets this solution in 3 seconds then I would be
very impressed. Rebel Century 3.0 on my 333 PII with 48 Mb RAM gets the
following sequence in 2 minutes after it locked on to the initial Nb5 after 20
seconds.
16-> 81:29 2.28 1. Nb5 c5 2. dxc6 bxc6 3. Bxa7+ Qxa7+
4. Nxa7+ Bxb3 5. Nxc6+ Kc7 6. Nxd8
Bxa4 7. Nf7 Nh6 8. Nxh8 Nxh8 9. b3
Bc6 10. Kf2 Ng6 11. a4
The above sequence is lifted off of Pete's analysis.
So, if we can have machines that do "The Rasmussen" in 3 seconds to 21 or 22 ply
like the above sequence, then we have one helluva system. Maybe in five years
from now.
