SUN seems to fall behind regarding to HW performance of their CPU's. That's
true.

However, I enjoy the stability of Solaris 8 for SPARC and SUN's development
tools for 64-bit computing and IPv6. It's great stuff.

Are you using Linux boxes to teach computer science these days?
