I've been wondering that for a while, and I was thinking about posting that question here. So all the Computer Chess Gurus can answer it. In this week I've played two games, I set Fritz for 1850. I lost the first game basically because I did not see a move three moves ahead, after that my position crumble. The second I was able to obtain a good position and then Fritz Played something very stupid and I the end I beat Fritz . So my question is, how do they handicap the program. Is it accurate, how do they determine that 1800 is 1800.? do they have like a blunder algorhythm?
