Junior 6a does *not* have this problem and it is of course using the same set of tablebases that Fritz 6e is. I have loaded only the first of the 4 Nalimov CD's onto my laptop (to conserve space). Junior 6a, after 4 seconds on my PIII-500 sees that Bf3 is the right move (and a score very close to 0.00). Fritz 6e does not, as Uri states. So, using just the TBs that come with the Fritz 6 CD or (in my case) installing only one of the 4 TB set that comes with the endgame turbo collection -- both cause the problem with Fritz to show. Roy
