Hello Christian,
There is no ghost. I have had 5 different versions of Fritz 6. The original
version on the CD of course was first. The second was on 23 Jan 00 and it was
called Fritz6spnew.exe (3,092,688 bytes). The next was on 25 Jan 00 and it was
called Friz6sp2.exe (3,099,316 bytes). Some people called the the "A" version
since it was a major improvement over the CD version. The next one I picked up
on August of 2000. It was Fritz6sp.zip (7,437,827 bytes). That one I called
Fritz 6b. The last one I got in January 2001 (3,542,643 bytes) which I called
Fritz 6e (English version). I did this to keep them separate in my database so
I can tell if there was any improvement in the engine. It's not very difficult
if you keep records.
Jim
