the materialists in this forum will IMO crucify you for your statement. for them speed is linear, computerchess is linear and everything is linear. they have never heard about what you say, and when you say it, they will answer: the number of games you played is not significant for finding out anything. and they will say: more speed is always good. for any program. they are unable to differenciate and to find out about your experience. they cannot see that some programs profit more because they cannot measure it with THEIR eyes, their brain and their machines. and because THEY cannot do it, they claim trhat the rest of the world and even in theory it is not real. materialists. pah. you can show them hyper-light-speed and anti-gravity and they still do not believe it, even if you show it to them. give them 100 DM and they will get paranoid and see them research for the hook/reason you do it. all they can do is: make lists with results and play hundreds of games with their autoplayers. their brain is reduced to press the button of their pc ON and to take a pencil and a piece of paper and write down the autoplayer session after 40 games, and press the button of their pc's OFF. thats all what their brain is for. they will say you overestimate, you have no evidence. and that you would have to play 400 games to convince them. in fact they only out themselves as so "smart" to need to walk 400 times through a pile of shit to find out that dogs live in the neighbourhood and that these dogs are not feeling very comfortable in this big town. these are materialists. they need at least 400 times longer to find out anything in the world happening. do they have a brain ? and if so: why ?? wait for their "wise" answers and comments. but : despite this ---- you are right.
