Other programs will offer different perspectives, but only different, not necessarily better. IE Fritz 5 will find most every tactical shot, but will make positional mistakes now and then. Hiarcs might find a few better positional moves but will make serious tactical mistakes now and then. MchessPro will give you an aggressive perspective on the game.. etc...
