I think buying this means also buying Rebel 13, which is maybe the strongest DOS program. Tiger may already be the strongest chess program for th PC, and a major patch is coming soon to make it a lot better still. Another to consider would be Shredder 5, which is very strong and has some unique features (like the "triple brain" thing).
