There's a known problem when analysing positions in the opening book or the learn file, where Gandalf will refuse to post analysis. The other problem is the xfritz command that screws up eval at times. To avoid errors of that nature I've installed an extra version under Fritz without the xfritz command (in the .init file) and without a bookpath (in the .res file). Turning learning off might be a very good idea as well. Mogens.
