Which chessprograms currently already allow setting up a FIDE compliant time control according to the new rules ? "... the new time control to be used in all FIDE events and international title tournaments will be 40 moves in 75 minutes, 15 minutes for the remainder of the game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move from move 1. " Only one I can remember that supports setting this up at the beginning of the game is Hiarcs 7 if memory serves me well ; maybe Century ? ( have to check ) Also when it is about the "old" rules : "40 moves in 100 minutes, 20 moves in 50 minutes, 10 minutes for the remainder of the game with an increment of 30 seconds" They don't seem to be implemented in most chessprograms yet . It would be nice to see this is more programs ! pete
