The problem is that the "authors" claim to have written a _new_ engine. It takes a bit of study on the binary (executable) file to discover that it is just another Crafty. Why would they do this? Unknown. But it has been done several times. One person has done it twice in fact, getting caught the first time, changing the name (to Le Petite) and then getting caught a second time. I don't think a list should have 'clones' on it, but if the list maker doesn't know a program is a clone, it is going to happen. Usually someone will send me a copy of an engine when they think this has happened, and a careful check can confirm or discount the idea. The copy of "wincraft.exe" that I have is _definitely_ crafty, as was Le Petite and its predecessor.
