Sorry Jim, I wouldn't know about the actual Shredder 5 interface, but if you
should get Chess Assistant 6 (CA5 only supports Shredder 4 AFAIK) when it comes
out, you will be able to use Shredder 5 as an engine in it and be able to set
the time controls there. Both CA5 and CA6 allow you to set this new dreadful
time control of FIDE's.
