Subject: fritz 5 against grandmasters

I think the time has now come to test Fritz 5 against real grandmasters
in a public match of 6 games or more at long time controls, similar to
last years Hiarcs6 vs Hergott.I do not think sponsorship should be a
major problem if properly planned, as for any of the large computer
corporations a few thousand $ would be a drop in the ocean compared to
the publicity they would gain. I think fritz 5 on the soon to be
released 400 Mhz Pentium II with a whole load of RAM should be a
formidable opponent for any of the grandmasters at least in the 51 to
100 group.I wonder if any of our members who have good contacts in the
computer industry would care to try to arrange such a match.(I am sure
computer killer Yasser Seiravan would be interested in playing!)
