Hello Jim! Yes I remeber Kasparov claiming mate in 25 0r 26 moves witht Deep
Junior running on a quad Xenon 450 mgh. with a huge amount of ram and half a
gig. cache!

I ran the moves through Fritz6 on a P-III 500, infinate analysis, letting it
decide what was the best move and it took it a while with me forcing moves to
announce mate.
However it did find a mate this way in 27 moves, so I would think Kasparov +
Deep Junior we're right in claiming checkmate within 25 or 26 moves.

Terry
