I think that the fact that other moves are bad is a good reason to play Re3

Chessmaster6000(ss=10) does not like Ne3 and have a negative score of 0.79 after
1:52

It changes its mind to Re3 after 6:12 at iteration 9.

Hardware pIII450(128 Mbytes hash).

It is interesting that you ignore the positibe score after 17:35.
