Hello Bertil,
Thank you for your input.  I am mostly interested in the performance difference
between the two setups.  Ed says that the auto232 is damaging the Rebel
engine/performance.  I am trying to find proof of this by comparing the
performance using auto232 and not using auto232.  I don't care if games repeat
or not.  In my opinion timing is too critical to make games repeat when doing
manual input.  I hope to play 100 games manual and 100 games using auto232 to
see if there is a difference in performance.  My first impression is that there
is a difference but I would like more evidence just to satisfy my curiosity.
The game/1hour is taking a long time so I may change to game/30 minutes to speed
things up.
