I don't think CB 7 has it's own setting for this color, but it is affected by
the general windows display settings (accessible by right-clicking on an empty
place at the desktop) - But this would change the color of every window of the
same type, i.e. where the messages here are written, or the URL input line of
the Explorer, background of text editor, etc.

My favoured color for this is R 248, G 200, B 112 "sand" :o) - very
eye-friendly.
