I guess that thorsten stops the game when he needs to sleep or to do another job. It is his tournament so I see no problem with the fact that games are adjourned after 20 or a different number of moves. If it is possible to tell both programs to sleep so they are not going to calculate then there is no change in the result. If it is not possible to do it then there may be a change the results but I believe that the change is random because I do not think that thorsten decide when to stop the game in order to help one program.
