In engine match, Fritz6e defeat Fritz6 Old (original from Fritz6 cd-rom) in twenty 5-minute games. It clearly demonstrates that Fritz6e is a little bit stronger than Fritz6 Old. In addition, it seems to me that Fritz6e has more knowledge than Fritz6 Old has. Please see the results below. 1. Fritz6e (December 16, 2000) +50 11.5/20 2. Fritz6 Old (January 17, 2000) -50 8.5/20 (20 games) Both Fritz6 programs played on my computer Pentium 166 MMX with 72 MB RAM (24 MB hash for each program.) In addition, they used the "Nunn Match" testset. If you wish to receive a copy of the 20 pgn games by email, please email me: mrerk@barak-online.net I will try to email (reply) you an attached compressed file called f6match.zip. The size of the zip file is 20,832 bytes. It is maximum compressed. Eran
