On the other hand, time will go by one way or the other, and who's to say, at the end, what matters more (if any), the money one could have accumulated instead of playing chess, or the enjoyment of playing. I seems pretty certain you can't take money or any material object over to the other side, since they still remain behind. As for the mind-stuff, nobody knows. Maybe we'll end up seeing all the money-chase as the real waste of time.
