Many thanks. There are really only two possible outcomes to this problem: 1) A special German version was intentionally created by The Learning Company and that was distributed in Europe. The development team will get it and then be able to create a special version of the patch for it. 2) This version was NOT created by The Learning Company, and is therefore "unauthorized" in some way. This version will probably NOT be patched, then, and you will be out of luck. You might contact Niggemann to see if they did anything special to the program, or to find out where they got it. jm
