I was just about to post that with Tim's (at ICD) help I figured this out. Of course what ChessBase did is horrible. Don't they realize that different color backgrounds may be appropriate based on factors such as window size, font style, and font size? They actually ruined a good thing by eliminating the grey window background in going from CB6 to CB7.
