I have now confirmed that to be a fact with a test. The patched version is
generally only about half the speed of the original version when analyzing in
the Game Room, human vs human, infinite time, with the Thinking Lines or Visual
Thinking windows open.  For example a position which took 14 minutes to analyze
to 13-ply depth with the original CM8000, now takes 30 minutes to analyze to the
same 13-ply depth with the patch applied.

Because that is my primary use for Chessmaster, I definitely can't use the patch
until/unless this problem is fixed.  Therefore I am uninstalling it and will
await further developments.
