I am also unable to repeat this. Does it happen if you just go straight to the
Game Room on startup, with an initial Human vs. Human infinite game? Or do you
have to "do something" to make it happen.

Verify that neither the Visual Thinking or Thinking Lines windows are up by
going to the Windows menu and making sure that there isn't a checkmark (i.e. a
pawn symbol) next to their menuitems. If there IS one, then the window IS up and
is, for some reason, not visible.

If they are NOT visible, then I can't imagine what's going on. But any
information on how you are getting it to happen on your machine would be useful.
