I am having the same problem with Nimzo2000b. I emailed them and asked how to stop pondering using Cm8000 and they emailed me back and said it could not be done. I just finished the second game between Fritz6 and Cm8000. I created 10 different opening books with just the first 10-12 moves of a popular opening and am playing Cm against different programs using those openings. Cm is 2-0=0 against Fritz6 using the Alekhine Defense opening. Cm struggled a little as black trying to win a KN vs krb end game as I forgot to shut of the TB's for Fritz. I saw the score go from mate in 10 to mate in 32 after one of Cm's moves. In the end thought it won. :-)
