I also make some changes (and possibly break things in the process).  For
instance, I change cluster size from 600 to 5000 so that I can handle very large
PGN files.  I also change file specifications from 100 characters to
FILENAME_MAX characters in length.  This is necessary becuase my tablebase files
are strewn all over and are configured differently on different machines.  I
have a set of macros that makes several hundred changes to the source.

So caveat emptor.  No guarantees that it won't do something evil.
