Each time I do File/Load and browse my hard drive folder areas in order to find a game to load, any display of a column of icons in the browse/selection window (example, for folders or for PGN files, etc) causes a thin (icon-width) 'blur' or 'streak' of corrupted video image to extend downward from the column of icons, through the browse/selection window, across the background CM8000 window, even across the startup toolbar I have at the bottom of my screen. If I switch to a non-CM8000 screen, then back to CM8000, some of the windows with the corrupted video streak are refreshed and the problem disappears (CM game window, board and background), but the streak normally remains for some time in the browse/selection window (until closed), and on my startup toolbar (until whenever). After a series of mouse clicks and screen switches, sometimes the graphics corruption streaks disappear. I don't get similar video corruption problems with any of my other game or chess software, so it seems caused by the CM8000 software. Anyone else have a similar problem? Is this a known CM8000 video problem, perhaps related to some other reported video screen or window problems, and will there be any solution in the upcoming patch? I use a Sony CDP-100 (I think the model is) 15" color monitor, several years old, but still functioning well in all other respects. Thanks in advance, --Steve
