I have *no* video card installed, but could there perhaps be updated drivers for the motherboard, or for communicating with my specific monitor model? Monitor was purchased 4-5 years ago, with another CPU--it was originally a Sony CPU with Sony Monitor. Now using a store built 'generic' PC with the original Sony Monitor. Maybe I need to add a video card, which I didn't want at the time I acquired the newer CPU (approx 1 year ago). Thanks for the tip and in advance for any added info you may have on my situation. --Steve
