There are various operations that restart Chessmaster's thinking at the beginning. That's one of them. Another is Ctrl-G. When I just want to get Chessmaster off screen and look at my desktop, I use the windows Show Desktop operation, which doesn't affect Chessmaster's thinking in progress. You can copy Show Desktop from the c:\windows\system folder to your desktop, quick launch bar, start menu, or wherever you want it. I also find that I can generally multitask other software with CM, and simply call up whatever screen I want from the taskbar (overwriting the CM screen). So long as I avoid minimizing CM, thinking continues. WP
