I've got the US (patched) version of Chessmaster8000, and
according to the user's manual, there is a vector board option
available under 'preferences'->'chess sets'. There is'nt one!
Not a real problem, because the 'custom board' does the same thing,
as far as I can tell. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?
BTW my custom board seems to work fine with the patched version,
even though someone else claimed there's does'nt. I'm using
Windows ME, I don't know if that matters, but we seem to be having
different problems to each other with CM8K.
Whatever bugs may remain in CM, it remains great value for money,
and I'll be ready to buy the next version when it's available.
