These tablebases are needed to evaluate the game between Deep Fritz and Germany. [D]8/8/kr6/8/8/P1PK3R/6r1/8 b - - 0 1 In this position Germany played Rb3. Eduard Nemeth claimed that Rb3 was a mistake and better was Kb5 or Ra2. Is he correct. What is the evaluation after 65...Rb3 66.Kc4 Rxa3 67.Kb4? Can somebody create tablebases under the assumption that if the pawn get into c8 it is a win for white. In this case you only need to create 5 different tablebases Tablebase 1 wrong tablebase when the white pawn is at c7. The wrong tablebase will give a wrong evaluation of mate for white in the following position. [D]5r1r/2Pk4/8/8/2R5/8/8/K7 w - - 0 1 Tablebase 2:wrong tablebase when the white pawn is at c6 but tablebases that are right in more cases Tablebase 3:the same when the pawn is at c5 Tablebase 4 and 5:the same when the pawn is at c4 or c3. This tablebases can give wrong score for white but have no chance to give wrong score when the score is mate for black. They can be useful for the game and they need less time and memory than creating the KRQ vs KRR, the KRR vs KRR,the KRB vs KRR and the KRN vs KRR tablebases. Uri
