Go up one level in this thread

I was testing Deep Fritz Vs Nimzo 8 using my second P.C. an AMD K6-2 500 MHz
and the score was W7 L5 D6 in favor of Deep Fritz at 40 moves in 2 Hrs. I had to
stop the match since my computer gave me the old error Nimzo8.DLL is conflicting
with the MFC42.DLL again. It has been over 4 weeks since I haven't had this
problem with my second computer(K6-2 500 MHz) since my main P.C.the AMD Athlon
has always works fine. But this short test was enough to convince me that Deep
Fritz is much better than Nimzo 8. I always do my own testing since I am like
Saint Thomas, in which I have to see it with my own Eyes. But I did noticed that
if you test two programs with similar computers the result not always is the
same, but it was closed to Hans testing even if he is using a K6-2 450 MHz which
is very close to my AMD K6-2 500 MHz.

PS: I apologize to Mr. Hans for writting any nonsense about his honest testing
with the SSDF. I am totally convinced that Deep Fritz is the current best Chess
Program available, until Gambit Tiger 2.0 is released with a better learning and
a tablebase capability.
