Michael,
I can only offer an opinion. First a snip from the help file:
"Learning from a database
With this function Fritz learns from the experience of other players. It looks
at the games of a database and pretends it has played them itself. On the basis
of the results it changes the weights of individual variations."
In light of this I think both good or bad things could happen depending on the
quality of the selected games. Blunders, open or closed position, short wins,
ect... are things you might want to consider.
There are many here that can provide better fact/opinion so I hope they will
post and help us both out. Brian K.
