Wow thanks again for the fast response! I don't have any reason to think that
there's a second leak in game analysis, I was just reporting what I was doing
when I saw the leak. I hadn't identified where the leak was coming from. The
memory *does* seem to get freed up sometimes when the program is idle for a long
time so in that sense it's not a true leak. You would not shock me if this
turned out to be a Windows bug.

I feel bad that this thread caused such negative comment. I am having a *great*
time with this program. I am particularly enjoying being able to play fine-tuned
opponents. It is very valuable for a beginner like me to be able to play a
machine that plays like another beginner. Most chess programs are either miles
above my head or get "dumbed down" by limiting their look ahead which makes for
a dull and mechanically passive game. These games are *interesting*.

This is an ambitious package and it has some rough edges, but I still think it's
a great game.

I'm also very appreciative of the Windows NT support, such as it is. There are
so many companies out there who don't even *try* to make their games work on NT,
even if it would be just a trivial code change. My Hasbro email chess, for
example, works in free second-player mode but dumps core if you install the paid
version. How dumb is that?
