IE it is a "hit" >counter. I dont understand , why does the no. increase as the plys get deaper. Know one has told me what the no. represents. Does it mean that there are 233 positions that a capture can lead to. In other words if it says tb=60 does that mean that from this position it could end up in one of the 60 positons in the tb. and if this is true how come the engine does not kick off and get the eval from the tb instead of the engine calulations?
