The only thing you need to do is to adapt the "hash table size" to the size of
your computer's memory.

Close all running programs, and start Rebel-Tiger II.

Click on the "Extra" menu, then click on "Options...". A window appears. Click
on the "Advanced..." button.

Another window appears. Now you need to set the "Hashtable size" to a value that
suits your computer.

The value must be as big as possible, but always smaller than the size of your
computer's memory.

For example if you have 64Mb of memory, try 48Mb. If you have 128Mb, try 96Mb of
hashtable.

Then, when you play with the program, look at the red light that shows your hard
disk activity. If the program seems slow to answer and this light is on almost
all the time, then your "hashtable size" value is set too high. Set it to a
lower value.


That's all. All the other parameters are optimal by default, and Tiger plays as
strong as the programs you mentionned with these parameters. Don't change them.
