This move is typical to chess programs so it is unfair to say "a poor move of Deep Fritz" I am also not 100% sure that the move is a bad move and it is possible that the mistake of Deep Fritz was a later move. Deep Fritz gets for the queen rook bishop pawn and a rook on the 7th and the evaluation function of chess programs say that it is clearly enough. I tried some chess programs(Junior,Hiarcs,Crafty) and all of them like Qxe7 > > > Rxe7 21. Rxe7 >Ba4 22. Bxf7+ Kh8 23. Bxf6 A lot of chess programs prefer Rf1 and not 23.Bxf6 and see an advantage for white. gxf6 24. Rde1 Bc6 25. Bb3 Even here white has alternative with advntage based on the evaluation of chess programs like 25.Nxc6. I did not give them a long time so they may fail low but if there is a problem in the evaluation it is not only a problem of deep fritz so it is unfair to blame deep fritz for it. Uri
