I read in http://amateurschach.in-trier.de/news.htm Evaluation of Deep Sos +4.xx when Yace say 0.00 It seems that Yace was right because the game ended in a draw so it is interesting to know which position Sos evaluated as +4.xx Here is a position from the game: [D]8/p2RP3/4r3/5pp1/2kp4/P3PK2/8/8 w - - 0 1 The game was finished after 46.exd4 Kd3 47.d5 Re3+ 48.Kf2 Kd2 49.d6 when black has a simple perpetual check. I guess that Deep Sos had big positional value for 2 pawns in the 6th,7th without extensions for perpetual check that yace had. How much time do chess program need to see that exd4 leads to a draw? How much time do chess programs need to find 46...Kd3(Is it the only drawing move)? Uri
